Team squash

If you'd like to play for Waverley against other clubs, it's not so difficult – we have plenty teams !

 

We play in the East of Scotland League, which is mainly Edinburgh but also includes clubs in East Lothian, West Lothian and Fife. In the Open League (primarily men, but several women also play) we have 4 teams. In the Ladies' League we have 2 teams. A team comprises 5 players, so to play for your club you just need to reach the top 20 (men) or top 10 (women). All levels of play are catered for (not everybody's brilliant – far from it !) and you can try to work your way up the teams. For season 2012-13 (starts in October) our Men's teams will be in Divisions 1, 3, 4 and 5. For the women it's Divisions 1 and 3. We also have teams in the East of Scotland Junior League, where a team comprises 3 players.
