Club championships

The annual Club Squash Championships cater for all ages and standards.  Details are published in advance by email and on the notice board at the cub. The tournament takes place over 2 weeks (the last one was in March 2012) and comprises the following 7 adult events :

Men's Open, Ladies' Open (to determine the Club Champions – currently Christopher Ferguson and Heather Spens),

Men's Handicap, Ladies' Handicap (cunningly devised so that every player who enters should have an equal chance to win),

Men's Veteran (over age 45), Ladies' Veteran (over age 40),

Men's Super-Veteran (a far too respectful title, suggested alternative names invited, over age 55).

There are also Junior events, the number and format depending on who enters.
